Did you know?
Shrimp reigns supreme as America’s #1 seafood and, when compared to other sources of protein (such as chicken), this versatile and affordable seafood offers a healthier and leaner alternative.
I love shrimp, so so much. And thankfully so does my entire family. This means, we incorporate at least one shrimp meal in a week, if not more. There are so many wonderful ways to prepare shrimp and that means our options and ideas are literally limitless.
My go-to for most shrimp nights, is SeaPak Shrimp & Seafood Co. products. Who doesn’t love a little taste of the coast? A reminder of warmer weather and coastal vibes. SeaPak makes it as easy as possible to bring the taste of the coast to the table and to share it with family and friends.
I love using SeaPak to create my own original recipes. This is because the SeaPak line of products are family-friendly, affordable and so incredibly simple and quick for my busy schedule.
I love being able to spend as much time with my kids as possible after school, and these products mean less time in the kitchen!
From butterfly shrimp to popcorn shrimp and even my favorite, shrimp scampi, there is something for every taste. Besides shrimp we also love spring rolls.
This is because they can be filled with any range of ingredients and made differently each time. Even the same meal can be changed up by changing what the filling contains, which we did in this case.
We started by sauteing the SeaPak Shrimp Scampi as directed on the package. In less than 8 minutes, it was done. I’d call that the PERFECT amount of time for a weeknight meal.
While the shrimp was doing its thing, we also cooked up some rice. Once the shrimp and rice were done, we simple added the rice to the skillet and tossed it all around to mix it all together.
The last step is to choose what else you’d like to offer to go inside. Some of family loves herbs and spices, so opted for green onions and pepper and a shake or two of a seasoning.
The rest of the family opted for some avocado which lends itself perfectly to this delicious meal.
We simply rolled it all up into rice paper and we were ready to eat! Doesn’t get much easier than that, and SeaPak products make dinner come together in no time at all. I love that.
