These Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls are much easier than you’d imagine! Plus serve them with some homemade Creamy Blue Cheese Dipping Sauce for a flavor explosion!
It’s Sunday and you know what that means… it’s time to share a delicious recipe with you all!
Today I am bringing these awesome Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls with Creamy Blue Cheese Dipping Sauce. Tangy, spicy and delicious!
This week’s theme is Budget Meals, and in our household, that’s a must on a daily basis.
With 5 hungry teenage mouths to feed, you can imagine what my grocery bill would look like if I didn’t do a little planning and budgeting.
They eat everything. There is always someone with the refrigerator door swung wide open, or someone mumbling about “nothing to eat” or “I’m hungry”.
I don’t just create a budget for breakfast, lunch and dinners, I even include snacks and desserts.
These Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls with Creamy Blue Cheese Dipping Sauce are a favorite around here for a quick and easy lunch or dinner when we’re in a hurry.
I try to keep egg roll wrappers on hand all the time, because they are inexpensive and now that they know how to use them.
It’s easy to stuff them with anything, including leftovers, and they have a great snack or meal!
These Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls with Creamy Blue Cheese Dipping Sauce were actually born from leftovers.
I had made up buffalo chicken for something else (a pizza) and we had tons leftover so we set it aside to make these.
And they were a huge hit and have been made dozens more times since. And they are SO easy!
We just put some buffalo chicken in the center of an egg roll wrapper, topped with green onions and blue cheese crumbles and then rolled them up all snug.
Heated some oil (we either use coconut oil or peanut oil for frying, depending on what’s on hand, but you can use whatever you have or like).
Fry those babies up for about 5 minutes, flipping once and then drain them on some paper towels.
Serve with this fantastic Creamy Blue Cheese Dipping Sauce or even ranch dressing.
These are a little bit tangy, deliciously spicy and delightfully crunchy. Just perfect.

- 1 pound Buffalo chicken
- ¼ cup Blue cheese crumbles
- 3 tablespoons Green onions sliced
For Blue Cheese Dipping Sauce:
- 6 ounces blue cheese
- 2 Tablespoons garlic minced

Instructions
- Lay out your egg roll wrappers. Spoon about 2-3 tablespoons of buffalo chicken into the center of the egg roll wrapper.
- Roll diagonally, once, tuck in the sides, and then complete the roll adding a bit of water to secure the last edge to the roll.
- Heat oil to about 350-375 degrees. Add egg rolls just a few at a time. Cook for 2-3 minutes, turn once and continue cooking for about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve immediately with Creamy Blue Cheese Dipping Sauce.
- To Make the Dipping Sauce: Heat the cream and minced garlic to a boil, reduce heat immediately and allow to simmer. Add the blue cheese a little at a time and combine until melted. Add black pepper to taste.

These are awesome! I am definitely going to make these when the kids come home again! We love buffalo flavor and what a great idea to put them in an egg roll. The blue cheese dipping sauce is perfect. I can’t have anything buffalo flavor without some blue cheese too!
Whoa, these would be perfect game day munchies…but honestly, I’d love to make it my dinner!!!
These are right up my alley. I love crunchy, hot appetizers. Is there anything that egg rolls can’t do? I’ll never forget how they used to sell “Cheese-Filled Hot Dog Egg Rolls” at the Magic Kingdom in Florida. Those were the days.
They are just perfect…for lunch, dinner, snack or watching my beloved Cleveland Browns! I can only imagine how often your refrigerator door is open and I give you HUGE props for keeping on top of it!

Yes, please! I’m terrified of frying things, generally, but even I might have to brave the hot oil for this recipe–love that dipping sauce especially, Nicole!
These would disappear fast at my house!
5 teenagers?!?! I don’t know how you do it… I bet they LOVE this snack though. I certainly would. I’m a huge fan of egg rolls, and of buffalo chicken wings, so this would be heaven for me. Thanks for posting!!
