- Roast or sauté them and add them to soups for extra flavor and sweetness.
- Roast them with other veggies like broccoli, carrots, and potatoes.

storage tips & leftovers
Cooling and Storing:
- Cool Down: Let the crescent roll taco ring completely cool to room temperature. This prevents condensation, which can make them soggy. Slice them when cooled.
- Airtight Container: Place the sliced cooled rolls in an airtight container or a resealable plastic bag. This helps maintain their texture and prevents them from drying out.
- Refrigerate: Store the container in the refrigerator for up to 3-5 days.
Reheating:
- Oven: For the best results, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the sliced taco crescent rolls on a baking sheet and reheat for 10-15 minutes, or until they’re heated through. This method helps to crisp up the pastry again.
- Microwave: If you’re short on time, you can microwave individual rolls for 30 seconds to 1 minute. However, microwaving may make the crust softer.
Freezing:
- Wrap Tightly: Wrap each cooled sliced taco crescent roll individually in plastic wrap, then place them in a freezer bag or airtight container.
- Freeze: Store in the freezer for up to 3 months.
- Thaw: When you’re ready to eat them, thaw the sliced rolls overnight in the refrigerator. Then, reheat them using the oven or microwave methods described above.
Additional Tips:
- For the best texture, consume the crescent taco rolls within a few days of baking.
- If you’re reheating a large batch, you can wrap the entire ring in foil before placing it in the oven.
- To prevent the filling from becoming soggy, you can remove any excess moisture by patting it dry with a paper towel before storing the rolls.

Taco Ring Crescents
Ingredients
- ½ pounds ground beef cooked and drained
- 1 ounce taco seasoning
- 1 cup cheese shredded, we used a taco blend
- 2 Tablespoons water
- 16 crescent rolls
- 1 medium bell pepper or get creative like ours and buy 4!
- 1 cup lettuce shredded
- 1 small onion chopped
- 2.25 ounce black olives sliced
- salsa and sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- Cook the meat. Drain.
- In a large bowl, combine the meat, taco seasoning packet, shredded cheese and the water.
- Arrange the crescent triangles in a circle on a pizza pan or baking stone or other baking dish with bases overlapping in the center and points to the outside (there should be a 5? diameter in the center).
- Spoon the meat mixture over the crescent dough.
- Fold the points of the triangles over the filling and pinch dough together at the center (filling will not be completely covered).
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes (this is going to vary quite a lot. Her recipe said 20-25 minutes but you can see in the pic that the crescent rolls were starting to brown and were a bit harder than I would have liked at the 18 minute mark. The second time we made them we pulled them out at 15 and they were PERFECT! I’m thinking this is all going to depend on your oven and location)
- Slice off the top of the bell pepper and remove the seeds.
- Place the pepper in the middle of the ring filled with salsa.
- Shred lettuce and surround the pepper inside the ring. We made a bed for the ring with the lettuce which worked great.
- Serve with black olives, tomatoes, sour cream, cheese and salsa.
- Slice with pizza cutter and enjoy.
