Why You’ll Love These Margaritas
If you love margarita’s, how about some margarita inspired snacks? Try our strawberry margarita cupcakes or our key lime margarita cupcakes. We also have these fun boozy strawberry margarita twinkies and strawberry mango margarita popsicles.
And if you’re just wanting some more fun actual cocktails/drinks, try this cherry lime margarita or this pumpkin spice margarita from my friend Ellen.
Have so much fun trying out all of these fantastic recipes. But for now…
Let’s talk about this Pomegranate Margarita
Do you like sugar or salt on your margarita rim?
I prefer sugar, even on classic margarita rims, but whether you’re a sugar or a salt lover, both actually work with this margarita. However, you can leave them empty AND we also did coconut flakes and it was AMAZING!
Can I include anything else with these?
Yes, we love lime or orange slices, a skewer with cherries or even pineapple slices.
In the ‘Summer I Turned Pretty’ what did Belly put in the pomegranate margaritas?
So Belly included Kool-aid. and I couldn’t find a resource that said exactly what flavor but it made the drink bright pink. I would go for Strawberry or Cherry to get the color and to have the most complimentary colors.
To add Kool-aid to these margaritas, since they are individually sized, I suggest mixing up a batch of kool aid in a pitcher and once ready, add a couple of ounces until you get the taste you want.
Can I make a non alcoholic version Pomegranate Margarita?
Yes! Using the suggestion above to add the Kool-Aid to the drink, replace the alcohol with the Kool-aid or any other juice in a complimentary flavor. Again, we suggest a strawberry juice or a cherry juice with the pomegranate, though other flavors would work as well.
