The quintessential summer dessert, these Blueberry Cream Cheese Parfaits are great for any event or get together – creamy, blueberry flavor tastes like blueberry cheesecake in a glass.

Blueberry Cream Cheese Parfaits

When my children were very little, I used to create fun, fast desserts that only took a few minutes to make. Why? Because their patience levels were almost non-existent.

Well that, and they went to bed a lot earlier back then so they didn’t have time to wait for some long dessert to finish cooking.

That’s why we make these little Blueberry Cream Cheese Parfaits.

They are absolutely easy enough to throw together in just a few minutes. Each bite is like a flavor explosion on your tongue.

Philadelphia Cream Cheese brand came up with some new flavored cream cheese spreads, so sometimes we use them as a shortcut or for more flavor. It makes throwing together a meal or a dessert, faster than ever.

We love to use the savory flavors to make Creamy Chicken or sauces. Spreading it on crackers, toast, even vegetables. Absolutely outstanding.

Then there’s the sweet flavors, and they go well with nearly any dessert or as a dip for fruit or cookies.

But let’s get back to these little Blueberry Cream Cheese Parfaits. It’s been a long time since I made them.

My daughter was able to find the cream cheese in blueberry so if you want to use that like we did, go right ahead. It just adds even more great blueberry flavor.

If you cannot find blueberry cream cheese spread that’s okay too. You can simply just use regular cream cheese and go from there.

My daughter is a food blogger as well, and when she decided she wanted to use the blueberry cream cheese spread in the recipe, she knew it would add a bit more flavor.

Also makes life a bit more simple, but again it’s not a necessary addition.

Once we got to making these little gems, our parfaits came together in only minutes.

Everyone devoured them, and all agreed that using the flavored spread was much better than using the regular and mixing the mixture up ourselves.

If you use regular cream cheese, you are going to need to let these refrigerate for an hour or two to let those flavors sit together. The longer the better.

If you haven’t made these before, the recipe is simple, has limited ingredients and is so full of blueberry flavor.
