A very easy but completely versatile recipe, this quick and easy creamy taco dip is so good with all sorts of things. This post will show you some ways to use it as well.

We’re going a little old school here. This recipe has been around a long time.

I know I had it as a teenager.

Tonight we made this delicious dip, and thoroughly enjoyed it with some chips and crackers.

But we have made this dip for so many other things.

This goes great on burgers, hot dogs and even on veggies.

You can serve it with pasta, rice and more.

My teens adore it with burgers and hot dogs. Might be their favorite way to enjoy it.

I enjoy it with wraps. On sandwiches, with tacos. It’s incredible!

Yum!

Quick and Easy Creamy Taco Dip

1 pkg (16oz block) of Processed Cheese (typically by Velveeta but we find generic brands constantly)
1 (16 oz. container) sour cream
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix

First, cut the cheese into small cubes. In a microwave safe bowl, put the cheese cubes, sour cream and taco seasoning mix and microwave covered for 3 minutes. Remove and stir well. Replace in microwave and cook an additional 2 minutes. Remove and stir. If it still needs heating, do it 1 minute increments until creamy and smooth. This dip can be served hot OR cold and tastes great with crackers, tortilla chips, corn chips or on meats or over rice. It’s a great versatile sauce/dip.
