Avocado Sprouts California Cheeseburgers with Shallot Mayo

It’s still Burger month but OMG  it’s almost over. ::sad face:: This is my last burger for #BurgerMonth in 2019 but it is not the last burger that will be shared for May. A few other bloggers still have some burger goodness to share with you!

We’ve been celebrating all month long with loads of burger epicness! It has been one giant month of grilling for us here in the Daily Dish Recipes proverbial kitchen (ie. our backyard).

You can see all of them here at BurgerMonth.com and you can even see last year’s burger awesomeness. You will find tons of burgers you want to make, I’m sure of it.

Avocado Sprouts California Cheeseburgers with Shallot Mayo

This Avocado Sprouts California Cheeseburger with Shallot Mayo was literally born of my craving for fresh veggies lately.

It might have been all the burgers I’ve consumed, but regardless it just made me want one loaded with veggies.

I added a shallot mayo because I wanted some extra flavor in there too and simple mayo wasn’t enough.

This burger is loaded with avocado, sprouts, tomato, spinach and cilantro. It has melted provolone cheese for a lighter cheese flavor and is then smothered in shallot mayo and topped with a burger bun.

I kept the meat simple… a little garlic powder, salt and pepper, but if you want something more, just do it.

  1. I haven’t seen sprouts in forever! I wouldn’t even begin to know where to look. Sprouts or no sprouts this burger look AWESOME! So much flavor and texture in one place is bound to taste amazing.
