Why in the world I chose to share Asparagus two days in a row, I’ll never totally know but after all, it’s easily one of my favorite side dishes of all times. Plus, it just goes perfectly for a BBQ.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ pounds asparagus
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter cut into thin slices
  • 1-2 teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning
  • ½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 small lemon cut into rounds
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese grated, optional

Instructions
 

  • Prepare a tinfoil packet tray or use a vegetable tray for your BBQ pit. Get BBQ pit ready and heated.
  • In the tray, layer the asparagus and add sliced butter all over the top. Sprinkle with lemon pepper seasoning and salt. Layer lemon slices on top of that.
  • Grill covered for about 5-7 minutes. Open lid and continue cooking uncovered for about 4-5 more minutes.
  • Remove from heat, sprinkle with optional parmesan and serve immediately.
