Grilled Lemon Pepper Butter Parmesan Asparagus

Buttery, melt in your mouth grilled asparagus seasoned with lemon juice and lemon pepper seasoning, makes this Grilled Lemon Pepper Butter Parmesan Asparagus a great side dish for any BBQ.

We’ve arrived at Day 2 of #BBQWeek and I’m ready to share this delicious Grilled Lemon Pepper Butter Parmesan Asparagus.

Why in the world I chose to share Asparagus two days in a row, I’ll never totally know but after all, it’s easily one of my favorite side dishes of all times. Plus, it just goes perfectly for a BBQ.

Grilled Lemon Pepper Butter Parmesan Asparagus

Grilled Lemon Pepper Butter Parmesan Asparagus

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes

Buttery, melt in your mouth grilled asparagus seasoned with lemon juice and lemon pepper seasoning, makes this Grilled Lemon Pepper Butter Parmesan Asparagus a great side dish for any BBQ.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. asparagus
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cut into thin slices
  • 1-2 teaspoons Adams Lemon Pepper Seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 small lemon, cut into rounds
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated, optional

Instructions

  1. Prepare a tinfoil packet tray or use a vegetable tray for your BBQ pit. Get BBQ pit ready and heated.
  2. In the tray, layer the asparagus and add sliced butter all over the top. Sprinkle with lemon pepper seasoning and salt. Layer lemon slices on top of that.
  3. Grill covered for about 5-7 minutes. Open lid and continue cooking uncovered for about 4-5 more minutes.
  4. Remove from heat, sprinkle with optional parmesan and serve immediately.
