This wonderfully beautiful, summery salad is savory, delicious and is traditionally served at a Luau in Hawaii. Lomi Lomi Tropical Salad is filled with delicious salmon, fresh vegetables and spiced just a tad.
To make it even more tropical, additional add-on’s like fresh pineapple and mango can be added. For some crunch, add some sunflower seeds. It’s all what you want to make it. This is just the basic jumping off point.
When we make this, we prefer not to use dressing. We serve it on lettuce leaves or wrapped in lettuce leaves.
But it can be eaten any way you like.
Including on a sandwich (makes a great topping), in a dip – just add your favorite savory seafood based dip recipe, or as I mentioned, the jumping off point to a much larger salad.
