Kahlúa Pumpkin Spice Latte Cocktail – a wonderfully fall inspired cocktail that has a wonderful creamy pumpkin taste!
If you’re a long time reader of my blog, it should be abundantly clear by now that Fall is my favorite time of year.
I’d imagine it’s also pretty clear that I adore pumpkin. Sweet, Savory… doesn’t really matter to me. When Fall rolls around, we consume this flavor a lot. I just love it.
Fall at my house pretty much begins the day that I can drive to the local coffee shop and get their famous Pumpkin Spice Latte. That’s why, when I discovered that Kahlúa had a special edition Holiday flavor, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a bottle.
Surely I could use it to make a cocktail that resembled that glorious coffee drink everyone is craving this time of year, right? At least a little? Pumpkin Spice is Kahlúa’s newest flavor addition, and is already available for the fall season. It is the perfect add on to so many cocktail recipes and beyond. I am excited to share some with you through my partnership with Kahlúa, in the coming weeks.
So was I able to do it? Was I able to make a Pumpkin Spice Latte Cocktail. Of course I did!
You knew I would. You knew I’d find a way to make something amazing, that was like the taste of fall in a glass. You’re welcome.
Introducing the Kahlúa Pumpkin Spice Latte Cocktail
Right after you get a sip of this smooth, creamy, sweetly spiced cocktail, and you feel the warmth spread through you, from the first sip, you will be thanking me. That I am sure of.
When I was making this cocktail, I tried it with coffee and espresso adding a little vanilla. It just wasn’t good enough, and I wanted more. So I went ahead and tried using the three different flavors of Kahlúa together, and in pairs and my favorite combo is depicted below. I added the cream to add a little creamy texture and the pumpkin puree adds exactly the flavor I was going for. Simply top with some whipped cream and cinnamon and you really do have the perfect Fall Cocktail.
In this recipe:
1 part = 1 ounce
½ part = ½ ounce
I used about 1 tablespoon of pumpkin puree
