Vanilla Fruit Salad

I love fruit. I love summer fruit.

I could eat it everyday. And this gorgeous, very easy Vanilla Fruit Salad is a great way to enjoy fresh fruit!

I love making a quick fruit salad to serve on the side in the summer, for holidays, picnics and more. My kids are big fruit eaters too, so we make it often.

This dish is very easily one of our favorites. It’s simple, fresh and delicious. Plus it looks gorgeous in a big bowl waiting to be gobbled up.

We will often make a up a huge batch of this over a weekend. Then  I use small plastic storage containers to divide it up.

This makes it super easy for my kids to grab one and eat a serving. Or even better, they can pop one into their lunch box in the morning and have yummy Vanilla Fruit Salad for lunch.

Can I add a fruit to this Vanilla Fruit Salad?

Absolutely. Add or take away whatever you all like. This particular combination of fruit is fabulous together.

However, I know some people have allergies and so might need to remove a fruit or want to add something else.

What fruit do I need for this fruit salad?

strawberries
blueberries
grapes
bananas
kiwi
pineapple

Then you simply need a can of peach pie filling, though feel free to substitute another flavor. Add some vanilla extract and you have an easy, go-to Vanilla Fruit Salad you will love.

Normally I would show you some step by steps, except there aren’t too many steps, and I’m sure you know how to cut up fruit so… no process shots here.

Here are a few ideas to change up this Vanilla Fruit Salad

This recipe calls for peach pie filling, making it a fantastic fruit salad for springtime.

Use lemon pie or blueberry pie filling for a summer fruit salad.

For a great fall fruit salad, use apple pie filling and add some cinnamon to the final result.

And for Christmas substitute cherry pie filling. These recipes can be found on my blog and have some additional optional ideas and add ins.

This recipe is incredibly versatile and can be made however you desire.

What a great idea to add peach pie filling. I wonder if cherry would work too? Looks terrific. I know many fruit lovers who would be very happy if I served this to them.

Hey there! This was so good. I'm such a fan of simple yet delicious fruit recipes especially for summertime!

I usually throw in a few nuts too, for crunch like sunflower seeds or cashews(if I've got a coupon lol).
