We are knee deep in the middle of a move and this delicious, berry filled Bounce-Back Smoothie was exactly what we needed. Berry Banana Smoothies, a combination of pure bliss!
It’s time once again for my monthly Secret Recipe Club reveal, and this month, I was so excited to get one of my dear friends, Wendy from The Weekend Gourmet.
I had the extreme pleasure of not only attending the world’s best Food Blogging conference last month, but I got to meet Wendy in person and we even hung out.
In a hot tub. That’s right folks, we had SO much fun and laughed so much. I love this woman.
We both happened to be speakers at the conference, and I have to tell you, that her session on Sunday was one of my absolute favorites.
She is personable, a sweetheart and every bit a great friend!
I hope I see her again next year, but in the meantime, I have to just hang out on her blog to be close to her. (Was that creepy?) haha
When I saw Wendy’s name come through on the email, literally I had just gotten home from the conference and Wendy and I also participate in other groups together so I knew exactly how fabulous her blog is and exactly how great her food is.
Unfortunately for ME, we’ve spent the last several weeks packing and moving and just completed all of it this past weekend.
So what that meant, was that I couldn’t make what I really wanted to make like these Blueberry Lemon Donuts or these Sopapilla Cheesecake Bites. My entire kitchen is still very much in boxes and I can’t find anything.
Plus this kitchen is a little smaller than the one I had before, so finding a place for everything has been challenging to say the least.
Oh, and I’m still recovering from my “stabbing”. Two handed tasks are still a bit of a struggle. haha
With that said, I am not sorry I chose these Bounce-Back Smoothies. These Berry Banana Smoothies are the BOMB!
They are Wendy’s own creation and were absolutely delicious!
They were honestly the perfect break during our move in 100 degree weather with 70% humidity, that’s for sure.
And I’m not gonna lie, there’s something to be said about the fact that she named them “Bounce Back” because we all got a second wind after the pitcher was gone.
Thank you Wendy, for a fabulous, healthy treat on a hot, muggy moving day!
Everyone loved them and they were so easy and delicious.
I will be making MANY more of your recipes to come, because you’ve always posted the best stuff! Hugs my friend!
