As I pulled out my planner the other day and was looking at the month ahead, I realized just how busy we are.
Every day is packed and most days have multiple activities.
I already feel like I am being pulled in a million different directions.
This is definitely our crazy, busy time of year and it’s a time that I have to focus on meal planning or we’ll be lucky if we eat.
Dinner is the hardest because I need time to shop, get it all together and then cook it.
Recently, while at Sam’s Club stocking up on some groceries to make meal planning easier, I happened to notice this wonderful Sam’s Club Family Pizza Combo sign.
I stood and stared. It’s like a dream come true. For only $12.98 I can actually put dinner on the table in only 20 minutes – the time it takes to drive across the street to Sam’s Club, order a pizza and have them cook and put it all together.
The Sam’s Club Family Pizza Combo includes:
- Large 16″ Hot Bake Pizza (your choice in toppings)
- Cheesy breadsticks with marinara sauce
- Half dozen Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 2-liter bottle Coca-Cola or Diet Coke
It comes in a bag ready to go.
It was SO convenient and it was easy to order, go grab what we needed from Sam’s club and then swing by and grab it on the way out.
This saves me time which is pretty important to me.
No, all those pizza’s aren’t for us, but man oh man, I wish they were. The pizza was absolutely fabulous.
Hot, fresh and delicious, loaded with toppings.
We headed home with everything we needed for our dinner, before heading back out for various evening activities.
I loved it, I had dinner on the table within minutes of getting home and my family was thrilled.
Everyone loved the pizza and both kinds we got were a huge hit!
Since we are so busy, I have to do menu planning most weeks, or like I said, we would never eat, because I would probably forget to schedule that in.
Meal Plan Printable
I created a meal plan printable that we hang on the refrigerator.
This allows my kids to be a part of the meal planning process.
We take turns deciding what will be made and the kids will even come to the grocery store with me and help me shop.
Having the meal plan handy, means that my older kids can help get dinner started for me on nights I am still out running around.
This helps out a lot and cuts down on prep time for me.
So did having the Sam’s Club Family Pizza Combo. That was a lifesaver the night we grabbed it the first time.
We have since done it at least 3 more times and every single time we have been very satisfied and everyone has raved.
This will become a weekly meal for us for sure.
Would you like to create your own Menu Plan? I am offering up my blank menu plan to you, my lovely readers.
Just in case you find yourself as busy as I am, this is great way to get organized in time, and in the kitchen. (plus it makes your weekly shopping trip a breeze).
Some weeks I separate each day with a breakfast, lunch and dinner but most week’s I do it exactly as you see pictured above.
