Ingredients

apples
¼
cup
water
cinnamon
to taste - or apple pie spice
If you'd like to use the recipe for apple compote:

honey
Instructions
Clean the apples.
Remove the core and peel the apples.
Cut the apples into large chunks and throw toss them in a pot on the stove.
Add the water and bring to a boil over medium-high heart.
Add the spice or if making compote, the honey.
Cover and cook for about 10-20 minutes stirring frequently.
Remove from stove.
If making apple sauce allow to cool.
When it is cool, blend in a blender until desired constancy.
Transfer to mason jars and store in the fridge for up to a week. (ours would not have lasted that long!)
