Ingredients

  • 4 bags blueberry tea this is our absolute favorite, though any will do
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cups whole milk adjust according to taste
  • ½ cups tapioca pearls prepared

Instructions

  • If your boba (tapioca pearls) aren't already prepared, begin by preparing the boba according to package directions.
  • In two large glass mugs, place two tea bags per mug and slowly pour one cup of boiling water into each mug. Steep the tea for 5 minutes. Do not go over 5 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags and discard.
  • If serving hot, spoon the prepared tapioca pearls into each mug and simply warm your milk in the microwave for approximately 45 seconds. Divide the milk evenly into each mug.
  • If serving cold, allow the tea to cool for at least 10-15 minutes (We usually refrigerate it for up to an hour before hand because we usually steep extra for later so it's always available).
In the bottom of two bubble tea glasses spoon the prepared tapioca pearls divided. Add plenty of ice to each glass and pour the cooled tea over the top. If the ice melts quickly you may need to add a little more. Next divide the milk between each glass and add more if desired.
  • Serve with or without a boba straw.
