Graveyard Chocolate Pumpkin Rum Cupcakes
A simple chocolate cupcake is spiced up for fall with the addition of pumpkin rum and with easy decorations just in time for Halloween.

Ingredients

cups
all purpose flour
¼
teaspoon
baking soda

teaspoons
baking powder
¾
cup
unsweetened cocoa powder
¼
teaspoon
salt

tablespoons
softened butter
1 ½
cups
sugar
2
eggs
1
teaspoon
vanilla
½
cup
pumpkin rum

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Line two muffin pans with cupcake liners.
In a bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder and salt.
In another larger bowl, beat the butter, vanilla and sugar until creamy and add eggs one at a time beating well in between.
Slowly add the flour mixture to the creamy mixture, alternating with the pumpkin rum. Beat well in between.
Spoon batter into cupcake liners evenly, about ⅔ full.
Bake cupcakes for 15 to 17 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before frosting.
Frost cupcakes with chocolate frosting.
