Cinnamon Cookies
Quick and easy cinnamon cookies! They are incredibly soft, absolutely delicious. If you want to kick it up a notch, add cinnamon red hots or chopped cinnamon gummies to the batter.

2 cups all purpose flour 2 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon 2 teaspoons baking powder ¾ cup butter melted and cooled 1 cup granulated sugar 1 large egg ½ teaspoons almond extract
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, ground cinnamon and baking powder.
In another bowl, add the cooled butter and sugar and stir to combine.
Add in the egg and whisk to combine. Stir in the almond extract.
Add the dry ingredients a little at a time, mixing in between until fully combined.
Roll the dough into 1" balls and place about 2" apart on a prepared baking sheet.
Gently press the dough balls down just a little and bake at 325 degrees F for about 9-10 minutes.
Remove from oven, they will be WAY too soft to move. Gently press the cookies down with a fork or a spoon to create an actual cookie shape.
Cool on the baking sheet for about 15 minutes and then remove to cooling rack to cool completely.
