Ingredients

  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 ¼ cups brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk no whites
  • 1 ½ cups peanut butter/chocolate chips mix if you use just peanut butter chips, only 1 cup
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup black walnuts chopped, if desired

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Using parchment paper or a silicone baking mat, cover your baking sheets.
  • In a large bowl, sift the flour, baking soda and salt together.
  • In a medium bowl, cream the melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar until thoroughly mixed.
  • In a small bowl, beat vanilla, egg, and egg yolk until light and creamy. Mix with the medium bowl thoroughly.
  • Add the dry ingredients a little at a time and mix well in between each addition.
  • Add the chips and walnuts stir gently into the dough.
  • Drop cookie dough about 1/4 cup at a time onto the prepared cookie sheets, about 3 inches apart.
  • Bake for 12 minutes at 375 degrees. Remove while still soft, and they will remain super soft.
  • Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
