Pumpkin Apple Cinnamon Roll Waffles

Deliciously simple, Fall inspired Pumpkin Apple Cinnamon Roll Waffles – perfect for breakfast or a snack anytime! Drizzle seasonal frosting over the top!

Ingredients

  • 8 count Cinnamon Rolls with Butter Cream Icing
  • ½ cup apple peeled and chopped
  • ½ teaspoons apple pie spice
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar divided
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree

Instructions

  • Preheat your waffle maker according to manufacturer directions.
  • Chop up the apple and put it into a bowl.
  • Toss in the apple pie spice and 1 teasoon of brown sugar and mix to coat.
  • Mix in the pumpkin puree and the other teaspoon of brown sugar and again, mix it all together.
  • Unroll the entire roll of cinnamon rolls on a cutting board so the cinnamon filled side is up.
  • Spread your Spiced Pumpin Apple across the top evenly, but leaving about 1" to the end clear, so that when you roll it back up it doesn't all come out.
  • Roll the cinnamon rolls back the way they were when they came out of the can.
  • Using a knife, slice the cinnamon rolls on their lines.
  • Simply heat your waffle maker, and then follow your waffle makers directions for length of time to cook. Mine took about 3-4 minutes per waffle to cook, but it could take more or less time depending on your waffle maker.
  • Serve with syrup or even melted Fall frosting!

Notes

Optional: Melt frosting instead of syrup to cover waffles. Try Pillsbury Fall Frosting's in these flavors: Caramel Apple Frosting, Cinnamon Bun Frosting or a simple Pillsbury Cream Cheese Frosting
