An Easy Weeknight Garlic Chicken Parmesan made even easier with the use of Mezzetta flavored pasta sauce!

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts boneless skinless
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 Tablespoons garlic cloves finely minced
  • 1 ¼ cup butter crackers crushed
  • ¾ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup pasta sauce any flavor
  • 4 slices Mozzarella cheese shredded

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, melt the butter and stir in the minced garlic. In a large bowl, stir together the crushed crackers, Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
  • Dredge the chicken through the butter/garlic mixture.
  • Next dredge the cracker mixture coating the chicken thoroughly.
  • Bake in a 375 degree oven for 30-45 minutes or until chicken is done.
  • Remove from oven.
  • Top each chicken breast with 1/4 cup of Mezzetta Napa Valley Homemade pasta sauce in your choice of flavor.
  • Add the cheese slices, one per chicken breast or sprinkle 1/4 cup of shredded cheese on each breast.
  • Place back in the oven for about 5 minutes to melt cheese. Remove as soon as cheese has completely melted.
  • Serve!
