Garlic Shrimp Veggies and Rice

Buttery, garlic, savory Garlic Shrimp Veggies and Rice is an easy meal ready in 15 minutes. My kids love it, and so do we!

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces Uncle Ben's Ready Rice Butter and Garlic (or any flavor you desire)
  • 12 ounces Raw Medium Shrimp thawed, peeled and deveined (tail on or off, optional)
  • 12 ounces Mixed Vegetables frozen
  • 2 Tablespoons Garlic and Herb butter or spread you can make your own, or use store bought

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of garlic and herb butter or spread and add shrimp. Saute shrimp in garlic/herb butter for about 1-2 minutes. Add the frozen mixed vegetables and an additional tablespoon of garlic/herb butter. Allow veggies and shrimp to simmer for an additional 4-6 minutes or until vegetables are cooked/heated through.
  • Prepare packet of Uncle Ben's Ready Rice as directed on package.
  • To serve, spoon rice onto plates. Cover with Vegetables and Shrimp. Serve.
