Ingredients

  • 8 count biscuit dough
  • ½ pounds ground sausage cooked
  • 1 cup shredded cheese any type
  • 8 strips bacon
  • Canola Oil for Frying

Instructions

  • Separate the biscuits and roll them out into about a 3 inch diameter.
  • Top each circle of dough with cooked ground sausage.
  • Next sprinkle on your cheese of choice.
  • Once all the circles are topped with sausage and cheese, you are going to close up the circle and form a ball/bundle. Seal the edges so that no goodness falls out.
  • Simply wrap each Bacon and Sausage Breakfast Ball in a slice of Wright® Brand Bacon securing with toothpicks to keep it all together.
  • Heat Canola Oil in a large skillet or fryer to 350 degrees and add your Bacon and Sausage Breakfast Balls one at a time. Be careful for spattering.
  • Allow the balls to cook on each side for about 5-6 minutes or until you see the dough turn golden and the bacon is cooked. Some will take longer.
  • Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve warm and with White Country Gravy for dipping.
