It's like breakfast in a ball, these Bacon Wrapped Sausage Balls are a wonderful weekend treat or special at holiday time. Enjoy them! Pair with a side of fresh fruit for a complete breakfast idea!
Separate the biscuits and roll them out into about a 3 inch diameter.
Top each circle of dough with cooked ground sausage.
Next sprinkle on your cheese of choice.
Once all the circles are topped with sausage and cheese, you are going to close up the circle and form a ball/bundle. Seal the edges so that no goodness falls out.
Simply wrap each Bacon and Sausage Breakfast Ball in a slice of Wright® Brand Bacon securing with toothpicks to keep it all together.
Heat Canola Oil in a large skillet or fryer to 350 degrees and add your Bacon and Sausage Breakfast Balls one at a time. Be careful for spattering.
Allow the balls to cook on each side for about 5-6 minutes or until you see the dough turn golden and the bacon is cooked. Some will take longer.
Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve warm and with White Country Gravy for dipping.
