It’s Winter Olympics time! The Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018 is right around the corner! And with a little help from our friends at P&G and many of their amazing products, along with Schnucks, we are throwing a Winter Olympic’s Party also known as a Watch party. P&G is a Team USA Partner for the Winter Olympics and we were able to grab all the essentials we needed for party planning.
All it took was a quick run to Schnucks, our local grocery chain and my favorite store, to do a little pre-party shopping.
We picked up Bounty Paper Towels, Febreeze, Dawn Dish Soap, Charmin Toilet Paper, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and Swiffer products along with a few others.
Oh – and right now? You can get a free Team USA P&G backpack when you purchase $30 of P&G products from 1/23 – 1/30 at Schnucks stores. Be sure and check your local store for more details.
Throwing an Olympic Party.
When throwing any party, there is a lot to consider. From cleaning to decorations, and then all the food and drink options. But honestly, P&G has you covered for the cleaning part. With all of their terrific products, there is something for every area of your house. The primary focal points for cleaning before a party should be your bathrooms that will be used during the party, kitchen if you are serving food and drink, living space and the entry area to your house. Those are what your guests are going to be seeing.
For our watch party, we picked up all our cleaning products and then food, drink and decorations from Schnucks. We wanted to have a little fun with the Olympic theme. Can you tell?
We made super easy sugar cookies and pressed chocolate coated candies in to look like the Olympic logo.
We also had some fun with making sugar cookies into Olympic rings and using them to decorate the top of our cake.
For drinks at our Olympic Party we served sprite and dropped gummy rings into the drinks for a fun and festive look.
Overall our Olympic party was a huge success. Everyone had fun and we were able to enjoy ourselves because we planned ahead.
And when it was over? We turned to our trusty P&G products for clean up. Everything was done in no time and our house was spic and span again.
