A crisp, wonderfully autumn flavored drink, this Hot Salted Caramel Apple Bliss Drink is … well, true bliss.

Hot Salted Caramel Apple Bliss Beverage

There is no doubt that Fall has arrived here in St. Louis. Slowly, the leaves are just beginning to change, the temperatures have dropped, yesterday’s high only getting just barely above 50 degrees Fahrenheit and you know what?

It’s been wonderful. I’ve been waiting for this.

It’s my favorite time of year.

Living in St. Louis affords me four seasons and this one’s the best. Today’s recipe goes beautifully with the season and changing weather.

It’s time once again for the Secret Recipe Club, where we are assigned a blog and we pick a recipe and make it.

Today is the reveal day and the blog I had this month is run by Amanda at Dancing Veggies.

It took us quite a bit to choose something because she has so many delicious recipes like: Thai Basil Kiwi Sorbet, her Lavender Crepe with Lavender Raspberry Cream (hello!?!? omg!?!?), Creamy Mushroom Risotto and Pasta with Pumpkin Cream Sauce.

Amanda describes her blog:

My blog focuses on recipes that are simple and QUICK, with ingredients that can easily be found at the local market.  I also have a sweet tooth so expect to see some quick and easy dessert recipes as well!  I’m pushing myself to be more adventurous in my cooking, with both ingredients and cooking styles while focusing on seasonal ingredients.

Her blog was such a treat and we found so many goodies.

We finally chose her Salted Caramel Apple Bliss mostly because of the weather, season and we were looking for something delicious to serve around the fire pit that night and this recipe sure did the trick.

The sweet apple and salted caramel flavors intertwined and were heated to perfection and then served topped with some whipped cream and light sea salt. Just amazing.

It was a huge hit and we’ve made it several more times since then.

It really is the perfect pick me up at this time of year. Thank you Amanda, for such an amazing seasonal recipe that we have had so much fun making!

  1. Glad you enjoyed the drink! I make this for my hubby every fall to remind him of the day we met 🙂

  2. Such pretty pictures, Nicole! We have basically two seasons in Vancouver: 2 months of summer and 10 months of rain, lol. I’d love four distinct seasons! Fall is my favourite too. I wish we lived close to each other so that we could sit outside, sip on this delicious drink, and stare at beautiful fall foliage.
