I’m not sure I can say they helped me quit, but they are as a habit replacement and for that they work. However I was sent some Quit Picks to try, so I did.
Honestly, I am not sure I want to replace one habit with one like walking around with toothpicks in my mouth, but I gave them a try anyway.
OMG the flavor. First, it’s SO good. Seriously they taste so good. They are dipped in natural oils and the strongest one is cinnamon so you can really pick them up. There is also two mint oils and you can taste them too, but milder.
One toothpick goes a long way. I was able to put it aside for awhile (you almost need to because they do begin burning your lips from the strength of the oiks) but when you pick it up again, you’d never even know you’d used it earlier.
The toothpicks are made of birch wood, and come in small resealable packets that can be carried in your pocket, car, purse, etc.
Overall, I actually really like these, but they didn’t help me quit, they just made it easier to get through a missed cigarette, which is what I believe they are intended for.
These in combination with some other methods would be a great program to quit smoking.
