Happy New Year From Daily Dish Recipes Top Recipes of 2012

I sit here sipping my piping hot coffee and enjoying this quiet time of the morning. The time before the dogs are fully awake, and the teenagers are still slumbering silently in their rooms. My neighbors are all quiet and the chilly morning air blows through the trees and a slight blanket of snow has dusted the ground.

It’s New Years Day 2013 and I am trying to wrap my head around how I got here. I feel like I just celebrated 2011 and I don’t understand how it’s possibly been a year.

I had so many goals for my blog this past year, and I met so many of them, but I still have further to go. I am hoping that 2013 is a year that grows my blog and with it, grows me. That’s what it’s all about anyway.

The end of each year brings a look back at what was popular and what wasn’t. I am always surprised at what people fall in love with and comment on, over and over. But I don’t choose these recipes based on comments. These are the recipes that got the most traffic in 2012. You might have missed some, so don’t hesitate to check them out, try them and leave me a comment. I love comments, have I ever told you that? I try to respond to them all – now that I am using Thesis (for the past 3 weeks or so) I can actually comment back and they go where they are supposed to go (underneath the original comment) unlike ProPhotoBlogs which just put them in the order they came no matter if you replied to something or not. (I hated that!) So now I can finally respond to comments and I do!

I have made your ranch dressing and I made your bread for the first time the other day. Both loaves are now gone. Anyways, the four of us are moving in because we love your cooking.

I wish you would…. move in that is.
My favorite of yours is those Hate Free Chicken Sandwiches you posted many moons ago – my kids ask for them again and again – so good and much better than their fast food counterpart…. just saying! Anyone reading this, here’s her recipe: http://jcocina.com/chik-fil-hate-free-chicken-sandwiches/
I’m always surprised what people find to be the favorites on my blog. ;)

Cauliflower pizza crust is to die for Dorothy. Nobody knows what it is until you tell them – it just doesn’t resemble Cauliflower at all. Delish!
Happy New Year dear friend, can’t wait to get to know you better throughout 2013!

I just pinned the cauliflower pizza crust, it´s just the best idea ever, and the avocado fries which I´ve been wanting to do forever!

A very happy new year to you and your family! I made your ranch dressing and it was so good. It beats store-bought hands down. The nutella crescent rolls are calling out to me and a few other things that didn’t make the list. I’m looking forward to what you will share in 2013 and wishing you all the best!
