Who’s up for some Strawberry Cupcakes? They’re pink!
I made up several batches for Cook for the Cure®.
I bet you want to know what Cook for the Cure® is? Well, Cook for the Cure® gives people like me, with a passion for cooking (and baking) a way to support a meaningful cause. The program raises funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer. From pink products and celebrity chef auctions to home-based fundraising
events, this partnership between KitchenAid and Susan G. Komen® has raised over $10 million in the past 14 years. So how can you play along? For the entire month of October, Kitchen aid is kicking off the 10,000 Cupcakes campaign. The 10,000 Cupcakes campaign encourages cooks to whip up a cupcake recipe, snap a picture of the finished product and share it on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtags #10000cupcakes and #donate.
For of the entire month of October, KitchenAid will donate $1 for each and every cupcake photo that’s shared up to $10,000.
So what are you waiting for? Get in the kitchen and start baking now!
Or host a party! We whipped up a whole bunch of Strawberry Cupcakes to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness month and to support Cook for the Cure.
They are perfect in all their pink glory, to celebrate this wonderful month!
We might have had some fun with the food coloring and buttercream frosting.
