Spicy Potato Wedges Recipe

This is a favorite treat at our house – the whole family absolutely loves it. We make it many different ways, depending on our mood, but this recipe is so good that this is how we typically serve it.  So what do you think my 5 kiddos are having for snack after school today?? Simply Delicious!!

Spicy Potato Wedges Recipe

1/4 c. canola oil
1 Tbs. chili powder
2 tsp. onion powder
2 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. paprika
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
3-1/2 lbs. large red potatoes, cut into wedges

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients with the exception of your potatoes. When you have cut the potatoes into wedges, drop them into the bowl and toss them to coat completely. Arrange the individual potato wedges in a single layer on a greased baking pan. You might need two, we usually do. Bake them at 400° for 30-35 minutes (be sure and turn them once about halfway) or until they are tender and golden brown. These are so good and are awesome served with a sour cream or cheese dip.
