MPM Button Menu Plan Monday 9/12

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and that Monday is treating you well. Monday is definitely not my thing usually, but today I was a little happy to see it get here.

Long weekend, but loads of fun. We went to a great event this weekend with our Fife & Drum corps. and got to meet Hershel “Woody” Williams, the only living recipient of the Medal of Honor from Iwo Jima. How cool is that?  It was a super awesome weekend, but I’m still tired and just ready for a quiet week of cooking and food. haha

I strayed a little off my menu plan last week, which was disappointing but at least I have the ingredients to make some of it this week. Right? Always looking for the brighter side?

Monday

Fife & Drum practice tonight – so something simple.

Dinner:

Tuesday

Dinner: Rosemary and Thyme Chicken (recipe coming in a few weeks), Sweet Potato Fries

Wednesday

Dinner: Baked Garlic Salmon with Dill Carrots and Fresh Salad

Thursday

Dinner: Shrimp Wraps, Asparagus

Friday

Dinner: Ham and Cheese Calzones

Saturday

Dinner: Chicken Gyro’s

Sunday

Dinner: Grilled Pizza Sandwiches, Garlic Seasoned Fries

That is so neat that you got to meet Woody. I would have been honored. Also wondering how many times this week I can show up for dinner before it becomes rude?

@Sheri, it was such an honor. I cannot even tell you. I will be posting the picture tomorrow for Wordless Wednesday of the corps. kids with him. It was amazing. And you’re welcome for dinner anytime!

@Maria, bring it girl – it’s about a 10 hour drive for you. LOL I’ve made that trek a couple of times (more than I care to even share!) I used to live in Dallas but home has always been St. Louis. Anyway, my Made From Scratch family would be welcome to dinner nightly – it can’t be that hard right? I mean, I’m already cooking for 7. LOL
You’ll love the recipe. I’ll send you a DM to let you know when its going up. :)
