For their fifth fully-animated feature-film collaboration, Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures present The Secret Life of Pets, a comedy about the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each day.
AND… in partnership with The Secret Life of Pets, specially marked boxes of General Mills Big G Cereals (Honey Nut Cheerios, Cheerios Multi Grain, Lucky Charms, Trix and Cocoa Puffs) will feature free character collectibles, including: Max the pampered terrier mix, Duke the massive mutt, Snowball the leader of the flushed pets, Buddy the sarcastic dachshund, Gidget the naïve, but gutsy Pomeranian and Chloe the fat cat.
On shelves at retailers nationwide now through July, while supplies last, General Mills Big G Cereals is offering you an opportunity to feature all of the limited edition PETS collectibles and create a custom DIY pet house!
Perfect for fans of all ages, these character collectibles allow you to bring your furry friend with you wherever you go– from backpacks to car keys and more.
Oh yeah, and about Buddy, you need to check out this video from a recent red carpet event!
"Here's why I was in Chicago! 😀 I had so much fun hosting the pets-only red carpet movie experience for #BigGPets! Watch me and my friends strut down the 'green-grass' carpet."

I am a pet lover through and through. We have a housefull. Lulu is our sweet shih tzu, six years old, who pretty much is queen of the house and thinks she owns all the things and all the people. Recently, we added Kipling to the mix and it has been interesting to say the least. Kipling is 8 weeks old and a black lab mix and Lulu is not at all thrilled about being dethroned so she is pretty careful to make it known to anyone that she is still top dog. We are interested to see when Kipling gets bigger, how that all works out for her.If they could all hang out together when we aren’t home, I could only imagine the crazy, zany mischief they’d be into!
DIY Dog House
We made a fun dog house and painted it so we would have a cute place for the kids to play with all the fun collectible characters. We’ve often talked about making a real one for the dogs, and this might just have inspired us enough to do it.
So have you seen the movie yet? Which collectible would you love to have?
