Captain Morgan Springtime Sunset #HappyHour

I could pretty much enjoy one of these Captain Morgan Springtime Sunset cocktails ANY time of day!

My life is so crazy busy that I often find it difficult to find me time.

I made a promise to myself that in 2015 I would make an effort to create more me time.

If mom takes care of herself and takes a sanity break once in awhile, she’s more useful to the kids.

I was sent some Captain Morgan Grapefruit Rum (among a few others) to create some fun drinks.

Even though I had ideas for the other flavors they sent (Coconut and Pineapple) I really wanted to find something to do with this Grapefruit Rum.

My sister is the queen of creating amazing cocktails and figuring out what goes well together.

Recently she came to visit and had a fantastic ideas for this Grapefruit Rum.

I made a few tweaks and additions and we wound up with a chilled version of sunset.

Why did we call this a Captain Morgan Springtime Sunset? A few reasons.

One, obviously it’s Springtime, the weather is nicer and those sunset’s are simply gorgeous.

When we finally got the drink together, we added just a splash of grenadine and proclaimed it looked like the sunset outside.

And thus, the name Captain Morgan Springtime Sunset.
