I recently wrote about my teenager daughter and I’s relationship, enhanced by our time together in the kitchen. We strive for good communication in our home, and spending time in the kitchen has allowed that special one on one time, and created an unbeatable bond between my daughter and I. My post was inspired by the “Out of the Kitchen” Series from Bon Appétit.
Bon Appétit has begun a series called “Out of the Kitchen” which promotes and focuses on face-to-face communication within the kitchen. The series features stories, articles and recipes that focus on how relationships and interactions are vital to the success of those in the culinary world, including notable chefs, restaurateurs and food influencers.
The main content focuses on a nationally recognized restaurant and the personal relationships that each individual that works for the restaurant, or is affiliated with it in some way, have with one another.
The stories are inspiring and poignant, and full of advice and stories truly promoting the need for face-to-face communication within the kitchen, as well as even out of the kitchen. You can truly see how these restaurants got their start and how they make each day work seamlessly without issue, due to great communication.
You can check out these stories and so much more, by visiting Bon Appétit: Out of the Kitchen Series.
